The scientific novelty of this article lies in the attempt to highlight the characteristic frequency mechanisms of linguistic creativity of business users of microblog Twitter, such as abbreviation, neologization, reformalization, blending, expressive-evaluative means. The relevance of the study is to identify the linguistic mechanisms of the linguistic creativity of Business Twitter. The objective of the study is to reveal the functional and genre-forming characteristics of Twitter. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to identify and classify the language specificity of Business Twitter as one of the most significant components of Internet communication, a comprehensive analysis of the functional features of the English-language speech behavior of entrepreneurs and managers on Business Twitter. Methodology. Identification, systematization and analysis of the study were carried out using the following methods: continuous sampling, comparative and comparative analysis, descriptive and definition methods, as well as linguo-pragmatic analysis and the main provisions of critical discourse analysis. Results. The author comes to the conclusion that expressive-evaluative tools make language and speech on Business Twitter more capacious due to the saving of language resources and affect the associative thinking of the consumer, his emotions and imagination. Practical implications. The results of the study can be used in courses on linguistics, stylistics of the English language, lexicology of the English language; in special courses on virtual genre studies and the basics of computer linguistics. The results of the work can be applicable both to improving the language policy of existing business accounts of companies on Twitter, and to creating new ones.
