Thoughts on popular science propaganda for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in Guizhou Province in the new era

Abstract

In recent years, several moderate earthquakes with great influence have occurred in Guizhou Province. Guizhou people pay more attention to earthquakes and have an unprecedented demand for earthquake knowledge. In order to improve the public’s ability to deal with earthquake disasters, combined with the current practices of popular science propaganda, the paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the development of popular science propaganda for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in Guizhou Province.
