Abstract

By identifying with the accomplishment of the project of Romanian national unity which was to lead to the foundation of Greater Romania in the years 1918-1920, the Romanian Prime Minister at the time, Ion I.C. Brătianu is a bearer of a family political tradition that fits into the heart of the national action of the generation of the Romanian forty-eighters whose father, Ion C. Brătianu, had been the emblematic leader.
