Estudio edáfico-climático del ejido El Rosario y los potreros El Chivato y Granadillas, en Villa de Reyes, S.L.P.

Abstract

An investigation was made of the climate and soil of Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosí; it includes a preliminary experiment on both soil and climatic conditions to be able to suggest which crops could be grown and what changes occur under irrigation with waste water from the company "Productora Nacional de Papel Destintado" (National Bleached Paper Producer). The experiment carried out shows that it is possible to establish not only fruit trees but also alfalfa. It is necessary to continue experimentation and take into account the possible damage that could develop due to the presence of sodium and solid matter in suspension the waste water used for irrigation.
