Dengue fever complicated by hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis: Report of 2 cases and bone marrow findings

Abstract

Abstract Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis is a rare but severe complication of dengue infection which carries a high mortality. This report highlights the importance of early recognition of this condition as prompt appropriate treatment improves outcomes.
