Mercado de trabalho para o bibliotecário jurídico nas bibliotecas do Poder Legislativo e tribunais superiores
Abstract
The objective was to identify the activities developed by law librarians at the Brazilian Federal Congress and at the Superior Courts, their academic and professional skills, and the opinion of the libraries managers about borders and limitations of the workplace. This was an exploratory descriptive research. The data was collected through interviewing managers and documental research, and the data analysis was based on the proposition of Laurence Bardin. The results showed that librarians tend to occupy traditional spaces in law libraries. It was noticed that competencies of the law librarians are still associated mainly to researching law literature and legislation.
