The “Palais du Parlement de Dauphiné”, rebuilt in the final XIXth century and used as a courthouse until 2002, has preserved decorations and furniture of different periods. They testify to the attachment at a particular history and to the manifestation of a kind of continuity beyond political changes. To the real or recreated memories can be added the representative testimonies of the relation to heritage, especially for years 1890 and 2000. The big whole of furniture let show through the importance of magistrates in the choices, the combination of Parisian purchases and local craftsmen, the reflection of the priorities in the quality of creations combined with use of assortments and sets.
