Abstract

The article presents the features of the course of parvovirus infection in pregnant women. The consequences of the fetal damage by the pathogen are described. The possibilities of assessing the risk of congenital parvovirus infection, antenatal diagnosis, interpretation of the results of laboratory and instrumental stusies are highlighted. Approaches to treatment are presented, the possibilities of disease prevention are discussed.
