Online celebrity journalism in Norway Celebrity journalism is a big part of the news media, especially in the online tabloid press, where a significant amount of reportage can be categorized as «celebrity journalism». This article discusses how it has changed in the Norwegian online newspapers VG Nett and Dagbladet.no since 2005 seen in the context of structural changes that the Norwegian media industry has undergone during the past decade: namely the financial crisis that led to declining revenues for the media companies, the development of social media, increased globalization and new media platforms.
