Pemanfaatan Aset Buah Pisang Lokal Menjadi Produk Jenang “Jepipet” Di Desa Jampet Kecamatan Ngasem Kabupaten Bojonegoro

Abstract

This article aims to explain the community assistance of Jampet village community, in Ngasem district, Bojonegoro Regency, with the utilization of local banana assets into "JEPIPET" --as original snacks made from Jampet’s banana--. The efforts of collaborative work and partnerships built between the Islamic State University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA) together with the residents of Jampet village in the form of a Transformative Community Service in Real Work Lecture (KKN Transformative) as a manifestation of the “Tri Dharma” of Islamic Higher Education. This Community assistance uses the Asset Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach. This is a model of community assistance and empowerment that allows the community to be more actively involved in realizing all their potential and strength by being directly involved to jointly utilize the assets they have in order to achieve better change in the future for the sake of their progress and prosperity. As a manifestation of that change, the Jampet village communities in Ngasem district of Bojonegoro regency can increase their economic income by utilizing their bananas assets by making "jenang pisang jampet” as snacks icon from original Jampet’s bananas, which are also initiated by residents to become a product of village souvenirs.
