The individual work of students requires independent study of the material, analyzing the facts and gaining the vitally important information in training of the future competent professionals. It includes subjects of educative program that are skipped at practical lessons and lectures, but has to be controlled by a pedagogue during the classes and to be in the list for the final module control. Throughout 2015-2016 years the educational process in our university is conducted according to the transitional program requiring the abbreviation up to 10 hours for practical lessons at the second year in „propaedeutic of therapeutic pediatric stomatology” and it results to increasing amount of information to be learned individually. So the number of hours for individual work performing by students remains the same (30 hours), therefore exists a necessity in new efficient methods of learning and control provided by a teacher. Introduction of new technologies and multimedia, particularly into educational process is the most promising way to gain the information. In this view we suggest multimedia presentation for individual study of the topics for the second year students (including foreign students) to control the quality of independent study performed during practical classes. The students are given the topics for individual study at the beginning of the semester according to the the- matic plan of individual work in „propaedeutic of pediatric therapeutic stomatology” also the performance dates are arranged. As was shown, the students definitely prefer such method in contrast to an essay as it was before. The task of the teacher is to verify material has been learned and to evaluate the knowledge as well as to motivate students to self-management of their educational activities. The students are very enthusiastic in creation the slide-lectures according to given topics. The demonstrated information as a rule is really interesting and useful, presentation relies on different sources, including the Internet which improves the perception of all listeners. Such presentations not only promote the sharing of information but also enhance the erudition of the students and their teachers as well. The students usually are very responsible in demonstration tasks, doing as well as they can, they are competitive and it not only improves educational process but also raises such personal qualities as a confidence, ability to perform in the face of others, to answer the questions, to analyze the facts. Thanks to this reports the future doctors develop responsibility and self-believe. We would like also admit that the foreign students, they usually do not like to work individually, are engaged in performance-presentation process. It is valued that such presentations do not break the structure of practical lesson by being brief (5-7 minutes) and supplement to the main part of the lesson. As a summary we would like to emphasize again that new technologies and multimedia especially introduced by students improve the individual extracurricular work in view of credit-module education system and provide vital important information for training future competent professionals with European grade.
