Abstract

The author, comparing the results of the presidential and parliamentary elections of 2019 in Ukraine, examines the direction and depth of the ongoing political processes in Ukrainian society and how they can affect the formation of a new socio-political system, the Fourth Republic in Ukraine, its internal and external politics, positioning in the system of international relations. According to the author, such an analysis using optics, which allows you to see the whole process, helps to better understand it, find a new tonality and form of interstate relations acceptable for Ukraine, the European Union, and the Russian Federation.
