Human Factors, Kinematics, Pendulous Earrings Many women like to wear pendulous earrings. They`ve been, however, associated to torn earlobe injuries by the specialized literature. This paper develops a kinematic study of the behavior of a pendulum earring worn by a participant while performing day-to-day movements. In conclusion, after a model simplification, the force applied on the earlobe by the earring is estimated.
