Edoardo Sanguineti: «saltimbanco alla radio» between radio dramas and interviews

Abstract

The essay aims to inquire various radiophonic frequentations and experimentations by Edoardo Sanguineti. In order to do so conspicuous and heterogeneous archivistic material will be inquired, both letters and typescripts, as well as radiophonic interviews to the poet, whose recordings are stored at Teche Rai (Rai’s archive). First of all, the analysis aims to prove Sanguineti’s profound knowledge and consciousness of radiophonic features, mechanisms and potential. Then, the research broadens towards an overview of the fertile interferences between radiophonic production, theatre, music as well as literature.
