Figures urbanistiques en régime prospectif. Pour une critique des pouvoirs de l’évocation
Abstract
From the analysis of the revival of territorial prospective approaches, which are increasingly stated as participatory, it is proposed here to come back on the place of figures and visions in urban planning. The growing demand for territorial narrative, the use of imagination and of the need to make assumptions about the future at the metropolitan level refer to a certain saturation of the public sphere. It is therefore proposed to reactivate an urban criticism that can take seriously both the composition functions of the collective that the iconic and verbal images perform by the visualization-visibilisation work they operate and a more realistic entry in the contemporary urban experience.
