After World War II «l’Unità», «Il Popolo», «Il Giornale d’Italia» and «Il Tempo» were the first and only national newspapers to publish a whole page involving the news of the main events about Sardinia in their local publishings. However, it was a publishing project whose aim was to broaden the circulation of these newspapers in the main southern Italian regions. By starting right from this point, the goals of the essay are the following: to investigate the reasons which led several publishing groups to spread in Sardinia, to describe the publishing choices that characterized this aspect of information, to focus on the main figures of Sardinian correspondents and the typical readers, in order to understand how these newspapers were able to affect the Sardinian social net and join the sale of the regional newspapers already there present at a local rate.
