Through indoor rock acoustic emission test, the study of the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of acoustic emission signals under different fracture conditions has certain guiding significance for monitoring and early warning of rock engineering.Through the tensile and shear tests of rock, the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of different types of rock fracture were analyzed by using the Geiger location method and the hybrid moment tensor theory, and the numerical simulation software RFPA2D was used to verify it.During the tensile failure of rock, the cracking initiated at the maximum bending moment and the tensioning signal source is the main source.During the shear failure, the rocks crack firstly in the middle of the main crack and appear the scattered source of tension signal, but with the increase of the load, the source is majorly shear signal.
