Telecommunications and standardization

Abstract

In the article is reviewed the problem of standardization in telecommunications. In order to present the significance of standardization in telecommunications, a brief review is made of the history of development of the International Union for Telecommunications. Basic data are given on the most significant in­ternational and regional organizations for standardization in this field and their interdependence is pointed out.
