Le Pioneer Club, voie/voix de l'émancipation féminine ?

Abstract

This paper intends to study the role of the Pioneer Club, which was founded in 1892 in London by Emily Massingberd, in women’s emancipation. Did this radical club contribute to the definition of a new identity for women at the end of the 19th century?
