Práticas Organizativas e Memórias: um Estudo Sobre uma Organização Artesanal na Cidade de Goiás-GO

Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss of the relationships between organizational practices and memories in the practice of embroidery in the city of Goiás, Goiás. We conducted a discussion of the theory of practice and memories proposed by Schatzki (2006) with an ethnographic research conducted between March and December 2015 in a workshop production of embroidery in the city of Goiás, Goiás. The research results highlight the affectivity as based of the articulation of memories and organizational practices. This is because on the one hand, the size of teleoaffective practices by highlighting the female sociability in the family environment as the practice of breeding base of embroidery in the researched context, show how gender issues are implicit in the production of memories of embroidery. On the other hand, this dimension, when articulated in a dynamic where the relations of economic forces are prevalent, like the subject when they are in a situation of deprivation of liberty, reconfigure the embroidery practices of memories highlighting the production of income as the basis of this process.
