Paul and the Cruciform Way of God in Christ
Abstract
Cruciformity occupies a central place in Paul’s “mystical-narrative” theology. The Christological narrative, finding its peak in the Paschal Mystery, can be expressed in concrete (that is to say, moral) ways, three of which Gorman examines: reconciliation, generosity, and hospitality. Applying the theological implications of cruciformity to the moral life is one way in which man participates in the narrative of Christ’s life.
