Diazide MR — New Gliclazide with Modified Release and Once Daily Dosing (Literature Review)

Abstract

This review deals with features of using gliclazide MR, in particular Diabeton MR and Diazide MR, in the treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. There is provided a detailed description of some gliclazide preparations. New formulation of gliclazide undoubtedly serve as a basis for the development of more effective antidiabetic agents.
