Visual identity of Liječnički vjesnik from its founding in 1877 to the present day

Abstract

The 145-year period of publication of Liječnički vjesnik, the oldest Croatian medical journal that has been published continuously, enables a number of different analyzes and insights. One of them is a gaze at changes in its graphic design and visual identity. This paper describes the basic elements of graphic design of this magazine, its basic features and steps towards the involvement of graphic experts. Our goal was to point out Liječnički vjesnik as a part of the unquestionable intellectual and material heritage, and the need to preserve and present it as a whole.
