The training of investigative skills in the future teachers of initial education
Abstract
The article presents reflections arisen after an internship funded by the Chilean Ministry of Education, to a University in Medellín. The purpose was to learn about their experience in the initial training of teachers in Colombia, in such a way to contribute with experience and knowledge to the training of future teachers from the Education Faculty of a regional university of the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities. The internship allowed establishing differences in training pre-service teachers, highlighting the difference between the training of researcher skills in Early Childhood Education students. The analysis permitted arguing about the need to train researcher skills in future teachers to allow the development of pedagogical research in Chile, and thus solve problems tending to improve the quality of education at all levels.
