Monitoring the socio-economic situation as a tool for development strategy implementation

Abstract

Identifying sources of information and assessment of condition and monitor changes in local socio-economic life requires creating of a constantly working system of appropriate frequency, that corresponds with the dynamics of given area’s individual processes. Efficiently prepared diagnosis regarding the area’s socio-economic situation helps to identify its key problems and also creates the basis for setting real life priorities of local development. The article presents the principles of monitoring system for both socio-economic development strategy implement and socio-economic area where the strategy applies
