Background. The study of morphological changes in the heart, lungs, liver on a model of chronic heart failure (doxorubicin-induced) in the experiment and on the correction background of 3-oxypyridine with hemisuccinate. Materials and methods. The experiment was conducted on white rats, divided into groups (intact, control, experimental). After the formation of the CHF model by introducing doxorubicin hydrochloride, the animals were killed, organs were removed and histological preparations were prepared. Results. A morphological study revealed a decrease in destruction and compensatory myocardial hypertrophy, the absence of intraalveolar hemorrhage in the lung tissue, a decrease in plethora of the central veins and swelling of the liver tissue. Conclusions. The results obtained indicate the effectiveness of the 3-oxypyridine hemisuccinate use in chronic heart failure. Suggested areas of application for the results are cardiology.
