The present paper is an attempt to present the hydrobiological observation on Virla reservoir of Khargone district. The data revealed that 5 major algal groups i.e. Cyanophyceae, Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Euglenophyceae and Chrysophyceae are present in Virla reservoirs.
