Abstract

The subject of this paper revolves around the issue of critical terminology between authenticity and modernity. It seeks to assess its roots in ancient critical heritage and examine to what extent it has undergone a renewal phase in modern criticism through influences and trends from the West. The article also emphasizes the various ways in which terminology is used by specialists, leading to a multiplicity of meanings in the same field of knowledge, resulting in obscurity and numerous problems. It also highlights the role of terminology and the importance of its presence in literary criticism.
