The rescue of traditions in the southern community Isleta of the Guantanamo municipality

Abstract

The present work has as objective the elaboration of a system of activities based in the physical educational approach to contribute to the rescue and maintenance of the traditional activities in the community South Isleta; different methods were applied so as to find the real situation of the problem object of study, we arrived to the conclusion that recreational baseball, fight, basketball, games with animals, and nature, dances, wheels and Open-air festivals propitiate the development of physical-recreational activities. At the same time, they permits to the habitants to build their own cultural identity.
