Israël au cœur du discours du Hezbollah en Syrie
Abstract
Lebanese Hezbollah maintains close political ties with the Syrian government. The outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011 thus presented it with a dilemma. Hezbollah supported the demands of the popular protest movements that first shook the Arab world in December 2010, so how could it support a movement demanding the departure of one of its key allies? The author explores the problem through a comprehensive study of the speeches given by Hezbollah secretary general Hassan Nasrallah in 2013 in search of a better understanding of the political and religious context of his framing of the Syrian question.
