Publicly Available Information on the Internet and the Specifics of its Use by Journalists. Legal Aspects

Abstract

The article deals with controversial issues related to the use of public information on the Internet, the interpretation of the terms “access to information” and “use of information”. The author argues that the information in the Internet in the public domain does not guarantee the possibility of their free use. Any information in the open resources must pass a system of verification of its accuracy, belonging to a certain person and his/her rights in relation to this information, the availability of conditions of use.
