La militarización en Colombia y el papel de Estados Unidos:Evocando la Doctrina de Seguridad Nacional

Abstract

This work aims to carry out an analysis of the process of militarization suffered Colombia in the decades of the 60' and 70', after the introduction into the country of the doctrine of national security, a move of American foreign policy that sought to suppress and prevent the subversive advance in national life through the implementation of two joint actions : the violent and the psychological, thanks to these actions, the social institutions will militarize and the para-militarismo are formalized under the legitimate principle of self-defense.
