The Oblivion of the Body: The Work of Cristina Rivera Garza and the State without Bowels in Mexico

Abstract

The present article analyzes the aesthetic and political conditions in which the work of the Mexican writer Cristina Rivera Garza has been developed. It also explore the relationship between the writings of the 21st century and the flows of violence registered in the body through the so-called war against drugs.
