Anapole superconductivity from $${{{{{{{\mathcal{PT}}}}}}}}$$ PT -symmetric mixed-parity interband pairing
Abstract
Parity-symmetry when broken in a superconducting system can lead to exotic physics such as protected quantum entangled states with potential relevance to quantum computing. Here, the authors theoretically demonstrate how both time-reversal and parity symmetries can be broken manifesting as an asymmetry in the Bogoliubov spectrum and discuss its relevance to superconductivity in UTe2.
