Lovingness and literacy in CAPS: transformative poetics for Youth and Adult Education

This paper presents the experience report of the “Oficina Criativa de Letramento desenvolvida” (Creative Literacy Workshop) held at the “Centro de AtençãoPsicossocial I - Manoel Dias Neto“held on November 13, 22 and 27, 2019, in order to dialogue with literacy and alphabetization practices based on the studies by Tfouni (2004), using the education method for youth and adults proposed by Paulo Freire (1967). Reaching a collective production of a poem, the Workshop verify the creative potential of a group of lettered adults, even if not literate, thus reinforcing the importance of the pedagogue in other non-school spaces for conducting learning with mental health.
