The Quranic Intertextuality in the Poetry of the Land Between the Two Rivers by the Poet Ahmed Matar

Abstract

This research deals with the Qur’anic textual content in the poem (Blad al-Nahrain) by the poet Ahmed Matar, which is characterized by a clear influence of the Qur’anic text in terms of words, meanings, expressions, images, stories, etc. Therefore, I tried as much as possible to study these aspects in this poem, and this influence constitutes phenomenon when this poet, especially in this poem
