The second part of the publication is devoted to the final — wartime period of the activity of the Typographical Monastic Brotherhood in Ladomirova, when the main dream of its founder was realised — the permanent work for the revival of the Orthodox Church in Russia became possible. The fully preserved published Minutes from 1941–1946 reflect the daily work of the Brotherhood and discuss the advantages it gained during the war years due to the peculiarities of the international position of the newly established Slovak state. Most of the published documents on the Brotherhood’s book publishing activities have been preserved in the archives of the Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church — they cover the sources of funding for almost every book, pamphlet and newspaper printed at this time, their circulation and the extent of their distribution in the accessible areas of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. On the basis of these documents some details of the interaction between the Synod of the Bulgarian Church and the Russian Church Abroad are revealed, in particular, the co-operation with Metropolitan Seraphim (Lyade) of Berlin, to whom the Ladomirova Brotherhood was actually subordinated during these years. The appendices publish in full all the letters sent to the Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church by Metropolitan Seraphim of Berlin; the correspondence of the Synod with the diocesan bishops of the Bulgarian Church who provided financial assistance to the educational activities of the Brotherhood; the correspondence of the Synod with government officials and organizations of the Bulgarian Kingdom who helped the Brotherhood with its work in Russia.
