MODERN ARCHITECTURAL AND STYLISTIC TECHNIQUES IN THE DESIGN OF MEDIA CENTERS ABROAD
Abstract
The information field is an environment in which there is interchange happening between a person and communication resources. For its functioning, media objects are formed in the urban structure, which evolved from monofunctional objects to multifunctional complexes, or media centers. The emergence of media centers in the last quarter of the 20th century provoked a rethinking of the techniques and approaches to their design. The outer shell of the media center building has become a means of transmitting information messages to an outside observer. This paper identifies and discusses current architectural and stylistic techniques employed in the development of media centers with an emphasis on ways how information messages are broadcast to users through the outer visual shell of the building.
