Situación Comercial de la ciudad de Milagro
Abstract
The canton of Milagro has a business sector with potential for development, but that growth requires the input and support of institutions. Therefore it is important to know the current situation for local companies, considering their key characteristics and the relationship of variables to describe in general terms, their strengths and weaknesses. Data is taken from the Economic Census, conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses in 2010.From these results we intend to describe business activityand how it can be a catalyst for local development, citing the potential for business growth through collaboration between public and private institutions, generating sustainable development by creating productive linkages to promote agro-industrial activity, adding value to products such as cocoa, flowers,sugar cane and bananas, among others.This raises the need for infrastructure and services such as product design, power supply, training centers, human resources, allocation of land, access to information, marketing support and other activities necessary for the promotion local development.
