Study on terminological research for the translation of specialized texts

Abstract

It is often the case that our attention is drawn to the solutions provided by our students when they start to translate specialized texts, even though they do not necessarily know what the correct equivalent in the target language is because of their lack of knowledge of the specialized field. This study will analyze the standards, methods and steps that Specialized Translation students use in order to find the equivalent that they consider is the most appropriate for the translation in question.
