From the therapeutic alliance to the pedagogical alliance: the essence of an educational collaboration Many studies point out the importance for a student, in distance learning or face-to-face, to be motivated to succeed in his learning activities and his academic progress. This motivation seems linked to the quality of the pedagogical relationship, and even more, to the pedagogical alliance that the teacher develops with his students. In this perspective, the ability of the teacher to communicate with his students in distance learning is a subject of research, especially since research in this field is scarce, leaving many questions on the nature of the communication skills to mobilize to allow the student to persevere and possibly succeed in his course.
