Strategies of Translation Chinese Medical Terminology into Thai

This paper aims to answer to what extent Medical terms translation guidelines from Chinese into Thai a word that presumably appears in no dictionary. Unfamiliar as the word may appear statusy is a perfectly analyzable formation for. The researcher studied the translation of medical terminology in signs and symptoms of diseases according to medicine based on the principles of translation on human anatomy and physiology and including translations,explanations from medical books and dictionaries. The different types of tactics used to convey meaning were also analysed. The collected data was only the interpretation strategies for analyzing the problems encountered in the perform translation operations to translation guidelines.The analysis used the process of translation or word-for-word translation. The results were two problems: 1. understanding of medical terminology 2. word choice in literary translation. The problems encountered and the solutions proposed by the researcher proposed were follows:- 1. problems in a medical translation is when there are words that need to be translated, having to check with dictionaries and documents that have medical-related content again 2. difficulties selecting a word for a translation and medical terminology, whenever a term made up of word parts is introduced, the definition is followed.
