The synthesis of nanosized zirconia by sol-gel method was performed. The optimal conditions for stable ZrO2 gel was determined, and then was set a point of gelation. Obtained samples of zirconia nanoparticles were studied by infrared spectroscopy and XRD analysis. Acid-base properties of the surface of the samples were studied by indicator method.
