STRESS-PROTECTORS IN MEDICAMENTOUS AID IN EXPERIMENTAL PARODONTITIS
Abstract
Purpose: evaluation of stress-protectors therapeutic potential in correction of experimental parodontitis combined with emotional stress.Materials and methods: 30 three-months outbred white male rats weighted 190,2±2,23 g were randomized in 6 per serium: intact control, combined stress and inflammation, use of piracetam, thyotriazolin, thyocetam after modeling. Inflammation was created by sodium hydroxide 4 % solution, stress - by immobilization of rats in cage-penals.Results: Stated earlier stressogenous character of inflammation was amplified by immobilization was found in chronic experiment as less alterative compating with acute. Use of thyocetam supports spleen mass coefficient, adrenal ascorbic acid, oxidation balance at control levels, stabilizes summarized-threshold parameter and behaviour reactions in “open field”, prevents blood pressure and pulse rate rise. Same-directed but less expressed effects were genuine for separate thyocetam components.Summary: Thyocetam (250 mg/kg) has antistress action in experimental modeling of oral mucosa inflammation and immobilization stress. Stress-protective capabilities of its components may be a result of potentiation: piracetam (200 mg/kg) and thyotriazolin (50 mg/kg). Use of combined preparation thyocetam in treatment of oral mucosa inflammational diseases on the background of stress is pathogenically approved and effective comparing with its components in these doses.
