The state regional policy under conditions of growing global risks

Abstract

The article discusses the evolution of the forms of the regional policy in Russia, aimed at the development of the regional economy. It also examines the typology of global risks caused by the entry of some regions and countries into interstate associations as well as analyzes the reasons of the low efficiency of institutions ensuring the inflow of foreign investments into the economy of the Russian regions. In addition, the article assesses the threats caused by the crisis in Ukraine and offers the forms of economic cooperation between the European and the Russian regions.
