A sociological monitoring of patients with arterial hypertension. (211 elderly, 107 senile and 108 patients of working (middle) age) with the specially developed original questionnaire was conducted. Among elderly and senile patients a large number of widowed and living alone were detected. Patients of elder age groups are less likely to pay for treatment; most patients believe that health care should only be free. Medical-social indicators in patients with arterial hypertension age groups may worsen the course and prognosis of the disease.
