Studies of lodgings have not been based on spatial attributes of academic investigations as a sign for collectivization and socialization, which are premises for consensus on solutions to social demands. The objective of this research was to demonstrate collectivization and socialization in rural lodging spaces in Brazil. The methodology was characterized as qualitative and descriptive, using bibliography and sources in primary and secondary data, space reading in loco and photographs of the research object spaces as support for spatial reading. The collected data were described in the light of the Peircean Semiotic, in its concept of abduction, followed by the Assembly Theory of Walter Benjamin. The results demonstrate collectivization and socialization in spaces of rural lodgings in the studied object (Espaço Rural Clarear, Camboriú, SC, Brazil), indicating spaces for civic actions and decisions of social demands in rural spaces in Brazil.
