Les jardins littéraires de Michel Goulet ou Comment un artiste fait asseoir des textes sur des chaises
Abstract
This article analyzes some public artworks by Quebec sculptor Michel Goulet and examines how these installations, characterized by their integration of literary texts, contain elements and signs inspired by the world of gardens. By using fiction in his works, Goulet establishes a singular dialogue between the outside space and the passer-by who encounters them. In conclusion, based on criteria defined by Rosario Assunto, we will observe the nature of this dialogue, which constantly calls on the notion of play.
