O acelerado crescimento dos bairros populares na cidade de Salvador-Bahia e alguns dos seus principais impactos ambientais: o caso do Cabula, geograficamente estratégico para a cidade

Abstract

Salvador is one of Brazil's first cities and like many others in the country, has serious problems that reflect the poor distribution of income. Among these we highlight the housing problem, the accelerated growth of poor neighborhoods and their impacts on the environment. The purpose of this article is to evaluate these issues in the Cabula neighborhood of Salvador, which is poor and has strategic geographic importance in the city.
