In the context of public history, the aim of this article is to analyze discourses and images produced by Estanislau Schaette, Hermann Schiefelbein, Arthur Wischral and Hugo Hegenberg about the German-Brazilian identity and its impact on Parana society in the first half of the twentieth century. Paintings, photographs and narratives are understood as rational and sensitive expressions that transmit and conserve values through places of public memory. The study of these artistic, photographic and literary languages culminated in a project of interaction/intervention with the audiences, which aims to disseminate and reflect such contents and, together with the communities, produce short films.
